“God’s Work, Our Hands” is an opportunity to celebrate who we are as the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA)—one church, freed in Christ to love and serve our neighbor. This is our way of life.
St. John’s is embracing this church-wide ministry opportunity by having an all-church, family service day as we prepare our grounds and building for Rally Day on Sunday, September 8th. There will be lots of projects for all ages and skill levels such as washing windows, clearing gutters and painting.
Come for some of the day or come for the whole day. Come early to get your own God’s Work, Our Hands tee shirt (quantities limited!). Come ready to serve. Come one and all. Lunch and ice cream will be served from 12 p.m.-1 p.m.
