There are as many ways to serve as there are people in the St. John’s community of faith. Guidance is provided and encouragement given to help each person discern their way of serving whether in their family, the St. John’s congregation, our community, region or the whole world. Whatever your passion, our leaders will help you find opportunities. Each week at worship our St. John’s “Yellow Communication Card” lists current needs and possibilities for giving of time and talent. Sometimes it involves a commitment of an hour or two – perhaps to help weed a garden or assist with a church supper or to be a worship leader. Other times it’s more extensive such as being on ministry team or a Stephen Minister. If you are uncertain as to where you fit, filling out a Spiritual Gifts Inventory can be a helpful tool.
