Cape May . . . here we come! On Friday, May 3rd at 6 p.m. our 7th, 8th and 9th grade confirmation students, along with their guides will meet at the church to head “down the shore” for the week-end for their spring retreat. (Please pray for nice, warm weather.) The theme of the retreat is The Apostles’ Creed—which though an ancient creed continues to comfort and challenge as we ponder the amazing mystery of God—Father, Son and Holy Spirit—Creator, Redeemer and Sanctifier—the Holy Trinity. They’ll be camping out at the DeMutis’ shore house and gathering at Cape May Lutheran Church for their learning events. The weekend will include some time for relaxing, prayer, and weather permitting, Holy Communion on the beach on Sunday morning. The confirmation students will return refreshed and relaxed on Sunday afternoon while the leaders and guides will be ready for long naps. Please keep them in your prayers!
