Singing together is a regular part of Sunday school for our preschool and elementary age children. Our Director of Music and an accompanist assist with the opening gathering for Sunday school and teach traditional songs (such as Jesus Loves Me) as well as songs that connect with their Sunday school curriculum. They love praising God with much enthusiasm!
Our Children’s Choir rehearses on Sunday mornings from 9 to 9:30 a.m. and provides an opportunity for second through sixth graders to learn to read music and to sing more challenging pieces. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, this choir is on a temporary pause.
Vacation Bible School abounds in music from the daily opening to a music station each child visits with their small group to the grand closing celebration on Friday morning. Music goes home with the children through a CD or podcast so that it can be enjoyed throughout the year.
