Youth and Family Ministry Mission:

Acceptance, love and service will help us to evolve, connect and grow in our faith

Youth and Family Ministry Vision Statement

St. John’s is a welcoming community which includes and accepts all people wherever they are in their journey of faith.

Youth and family ministry is where we engage youth and families in creating opportunities (supported by parents, families and the St. John’s community) which build connections and nurture faith.

Who we serve:  youth and families where two or more are bound by love.

At St. John’s, our intergenerational community seeks to create an environment that is truly welcoming of each person wherever s/he/they are in their journey of faith. We intend to be in a safe community together, without judgment and with acceptance for all people. We know that faith is always forming and evolving; room for questions is not only allowed–it is encouraged! Our youth and family ministry team creates fun fellowship opportunities while reinforcing core values of love, service, acceptance and inclusivity. We gather on Sundays for worship and Sunday School, and also create opportunities for youth and families to become a community who knows, loves and supports each other. (Youth participating in events without parents are required to have a Medical Release Form on file at the church.)

Some of our upcoming and past events include:

Trunk or Treat, St. John’s Cake Wars, Happy Hour Dinner, Night before Sunday School S’mores Bonfire, Christmas Parade, Advent Dinner with Phoenixville Area Children’s Learning Centers
