Providence Chamber Orchestra Concert

The thirty member Providence Chamber Orchestra presents its first concert of the 2022-2023 season on November 20th at St. John’s.  Our own Joe Lewis returns as featured soloist in Robert Schumann’s Concerto in A minor for Piano and Orchestra, Op. 54.  The ensemble was founded in 1999 to meet the musical needs and aspirations of its members, a group of talented, amateur musicians from the greater Philadelphia area, all of whom share a common passion for playing music.  Tom Snyder, Director of Music at St. John’s, conducts the orchestra.  There is no admission charge, but a freewill offering will be received to support ongoing orchestral performances in Phoenixville.  A reception follows the concert.
