For the past 22 years St. John’s has provided full tuition for students at the Maasae Girls Lutheran Secondary School (MGLSS) in Monduli, Tanzania. We have sponsored more than 25 girls who have and are currently receiving an education. This year, we are moving the Angel Tree from Christmastide to a Back-to-School theme as part of our Rally Day and “back to Sunday school” celebrations. Please consider supporting the St. John’s Girls by making a donation and choosing a fun school- or book-themed item from the tree. In addition, full and partial scholarships are both welcome and make an education possible for a student who would otherwise not have this opportunity. A gift of $100 per month or $1,200 per year covers one young woman’s room, board, fees, books, supplies, and uniform for the school year.
