The Christmas Eve Children’s Service has been filmed in advance so that you can watch it with your family on Christmas Eve at 4 p.m. Before watching, gather enough glow sticks (or battery operated candles) for everyone in your family for “Silent Night” and have a creche (manger scene) or a picture of one available to look at during “Away in a Manger.” Click here for the bulletin and here is the link for the service:
Our 7:00 p.m. service will be safely livestreamed on our YouTube page with few participants in accordance with CDC recommendations. Click here for the bulletin. You can worship at home with your family (make it special by watching around the tree or near your nativity scene, in your Christmas PJs, drinking hot cocoa—whatever works for your family) OR come to St. John’s and worship from your car in the parking lot with other parishioners! Weather permitting, our grounds will be decorated and lit by luminaries. Glow sticks will be provided to each car. The service can be heard through your FM car radio and viewed on an outdoor screen. You can sing along to all the carols and fully participate in the liturgy. Communion will be distributed outdoors (bread only). “O Come, All Ye Faithful”—let us worship the Lord together!
