Reformation Sunday

On this Reformation Sunday we celebrate the heart of our faith:  the gospel of Christ—the good news—that makes us free!  We pray that the Holy Spirit would continue to unite the Church today in its proclamation and witness to the world. It’s traditionally a day to wear red.

Blessing of the Animals

Backpacks for LWR

Lutheran World Relief accepts donations of “school kit” backpacks which they distribute around the globe to school-aged children (https://lwr.org/instructions).  The St. John’s children’s Sunday school program will be participating and assembling LWR backpacks on Sunday, October 13, 2019. Adult Sunday School Begins
