Alleluia! We are excited to share that the Call Committee and Church Council are recommending a candidate to the congregation for the position of Lead Pastor. On Saturday, May 20th, and Sunday, May 21st, the candidate will preach a trial sermon and immediately after both services, St. John’s will hold a special Congregational Meeting, at which time we will vote on accepting the recommendation to call the candidate as Lead Pastor of St. John’s Lutheran Church of Phoenixville, Pennsylvania. You are eligible to vote if you are a confirmed member and have communed at St. John’s and made a contribution of record to St. John’s within the calendar year. Voting will be in-person only.
You will have the opportunity to meet the candidate and the candidate’s family at a Meet & Greet which will be held on Saturday, May 20th from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Light refreshments will be served. If you aren’t able to attend the Meet & Greet on Saturday, we will be hosting a Coffee Hour on Sunday, May 21st from 9:00 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. where the candidate will be available to chat.
