Welcome to the Columbarium Garden at St. John’s. Our garden is open to all in the community who want a beautiful place to remember their loved ones.
The word “columbarium” is derived from the Latin word “columba” (dove) the symbol of the Holy Spirit and the Christian symbol for peace.
A columbarium is a multi-unit structure that houses urns containing cremated human remains (also known as cremains). A niche (also known as a vault) refers to the individual units in a columbarium. Our niches will accommodate either one or two urns, and the niche will have an engraved face plate of granite.
The unique location and landscaping of this beautiful community Place of Peace, with a four-season view of the Valley Forge hills, will be inviting for remembrances and meditation for family and friends.
