Amy Yannelli

Amy was born and raised in Virginia; with one younger brother, Todd, living in Dry Fork, Virginia. She attended the University of Virginia for her Bachelor’s degree and Louisiana State University Medical Center for her Master’s. She worked for several years directing non-profit programs serving individuals with severe mental illness before moving into Christian ministry. She has served in the Church for the past 14 years in children’s and youth ministries.

Amy says, “I am blessed with 2 amazing children, Devon (17), Joseph (25) who taught me loves of dance and baseball. Both have grown up in the church, active in Sunday worship, Vacation Bible School, youth and children ministries and other events throughout the year. My daughter will be a senior in high school this year; my son works for a local retailer.

I was raised in, and both my children were baptized in the United Methodist Church. I have great memories of being in youth group; camping out, singing in the choir, attending Sunday afternoon potlucks.

My faith journey has led me up hills and into valleys but I knew I was never alone. I gave my life to Christ as a young teenager. My hope is for all to embrace the love and mercy of Jesus Christ; to introduce Him to children, families, teens, to encourage service and empower to send Christians into the world to share Jesus Christ.”
